A total of 257 runners and walkers participated in the fourth annual Lauren’s Burg Hill on Saturday, June 16th on the streets of Lawrencebug.
The 5 mile runners took off at 7:22 a.m and all participants wore number 22 in rembrance of Hill.
Justin Noepert, 42, topped the five mle runners with a time of 32:00. The top female was Diana Filtz, 28, of Cincinnati, in 35:21.
Zachary Kozlowski, 17, of Lawrenceburg, won the 5K in 22:05.
Top female was 14-year-old Alisha Detmer of Patriot in 25:01.
Vevay’s Tye Sullivan won the 35-39 class in 24:57 and was seventh overall just ahead of Detmer.
Luke Sullivan, 9, of Vevay, was second in the 9-12 class in 27:17 and 16th overall
Amanda Blanton, 36, won her class in 27:28.
Sisters Julie (Baldwin) Wade and Mary Beth (Baldwin) Bailey were 1-2 in the 50-54 year old class with Julie, 53, finishing in
28:53 ahead of younger sister Mary Beth, 50, in 31:43. Tara Bailey, 20, was fifth in her age group and 44th overall in 31:40.
