The thoughts and prayers of the community are still with the family of Derek Archer; and the community is invited to a special event this Saturday night, August 19th, to celebrate the life of this special young man.
A benefit event will be held that evening from 6 p.m. to Midnight at the Moorefield Volunteer Fire Department; and will include a wide array of food, entertainment, and events.
The freewill donation dinner will feature a hog roast along with sides, desserts, and a drink; and there will also be a silent auction; a Chinese auction; a cornhole tournament; and activities for kids. A Deejay will provide music throughout the evening.
Everyone is invited to attend this event and support this important cause.
