Cupcake Walk for Vevay’s ‘First Friday’


Switzerland County Tourism will present a ‘Cupcake Walk’ as part of the “Chalk the Walk” Vevay’s First Friday.

The event will be held tomorrow (Friday) night, from 6-9 p.m. in downtown Vevay. It is free and open to the public.

Held inside the Switzerland County Visitors Center at 128 West Main Street in Vevay, three walks will take place beginning at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. Participants will compete to music to receive gift certificates for a free cupcake. There will be multiple winners.

Chalk will also be available for use to decorate the sidewalks with artistic creations in front of the Visitors Center and on Main and Ferry streets.

Budding or professional artists of all ages are invited to participate. The is no charge to participate.

Vevay’s First Friday is presented by Vevay Main Street. The event features late night shopping, dining, live entertainment, gallery openings, store specials, and free carriage rides (weather permitting) around downtown Vevay.
