‘Creative Spaces, Rural Places’ tour set for this weekend

The ‘Creative Spaces, Rural Places’ Studio Art Tour weekend will take place this Saturday and Sunday, April 20th-21st, throughout galleries, studios, and businesses in Switzerland and Ohio counties.

Nearly 50 artists specializing in sculpture, paintings, glass, fiber, steel, chainsaw carvings, jewelry, wood, photography and more are scheduled to appear in locations throughout Switzerland and Ohio counties. Artist demonstrations will be taking place during the tour.

Now in its sixth year, the event attracts attendees from the tri-state and beyond. Several Dearborn County artists will be participating in Heritage Hall located in Ohio County. Guests are invited to enter into artists’ studios, galleries, homes, and local businesses to view hundreds of pieces of fine arts and crafts and meet the artists who create them.

The tour is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday; and from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday. It is free and open to the public. Participating artists will have artwork available for sale.
