The Visitors Center has moved.

The Switzerland County Visitors Center is now officially open at 128 West Main Street in Vevay. The staff of the Visitors Center is very excited about the “new space”, and they think you will be, too.

To celebrate the new location and also “National Tourism Week” the Switzerland County Visitors Center will have a Grand Opening Celebration this weekend, May 13th-15th.

Come enjoy refreshments and enter to win door prizes. Stop in to visit or just to look around.

The open house and grand opening weekend will be held tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.; and on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.

The Visitors Center’s helpful staff will let you in on the upcoming events and happenings around Switzerland County. Check out the displays of Switzerland County products or browse through the historical information.

In addition to the Visitors Center and Tourism Offices, there is a meeting space that is available to Switzerland County organizations and public restrooms to better serve downtown visitors and event attendees.

The Visitors Center also has extended its hours of operation. The center is now open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
