Community input sought by survey

The Switzerland County School Corporation is beginning its search for a superintendent, and current superintendent Darin Gullion has announced that the school is seeking community input into the search process.

The survey consists of four questions:

(1) What are three personal characteristics that you are looking for in your new superintendent?

(2) What would you tell the next superintendent about three aspects of the Switzerland County School Corporation that are being done well?

(3) What would you tell the superintendent about the three major goals that you would most like to see accomplished in the Switzerland County School Corporation in the next three to five years?

(4) What would you tell the next superintendent about the challenges that are facing the Switzerland County School Corporation?

Members of the community do not have to put their names on the survey, although there is a place for your name if you choose to provide it.

The survey is found on page 9 of today’s edition, and it can be cut out and returned to the school corporation office at 305 West Seminary Street, Vevay, Indiana, 47043, either in person or by mail.

The survey may also be filled out electronically by going to the school’s webpage. A link to the school’s webpage is found at the Vevay Newspapers website, www.vevaynewspapers.com.

The deadline to fill out a survey is Monday, March 3rd.
