The 2018 Aurora Farmers Fair opens on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd with the annual King and Queen Contest highlighting the opening evening.
Opening night entertainment includes: Steve Brooks & the Bootleggers, Stage 2, 6:00pm; Whiskey River, Stage 2, 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm; Greendale Bengal Beat, Stage 1, 6:15 pm; South Ripley young Confederates, Stage 1, 6:45 pm and Lawrenceburg Tiger Pizazz, Stage 1, 7:15 pm.
Introduction of the King and Queen Contestants will be at 7:45 pm
Hall of Fame Awards will be on Stage 2, 8:00 pm with South Dearborn Middle School Show Choir, Stage 1, 8:45 pm followed by the South Dearborn Opening Knight Show Choir, Stage 1, 9:15 pm with the Crowning of King and Queen, Stage 1, 9:45 pm.
On Thursday, Oct. 4th there will be a War Veterans Presentation, Stage 1, 6:05 pm followed by the Grand Marshal Presentation, Stage 1, 6:45 pm. Entertainment includes: Dixie Melody Boys, Stage 1, 7:00 pm; Triumphant Quartet, Stage 1, 8:00 pm; Pappy & Ted’s Excellent Unplugged Adventures Stage 2, 6:00 pm and Travis Bowlin, Stage 2, 8:00 pm.
On Friday, Oct. 5th, the Midway Opens at noon. Evening entertainment includes Ooh La La Unplugged, Stage 1, 6:15 pm; Abbi Love, Stage 2, 6:00 pm; Warren Butler, Stage 2, 8:00 pm; Circle City Sidewalk Stompers, 6:30pm and Van Dells, Stage 1, 8:30 pm
On Saturday, Oct. 6th, the Farmers Fair Parade will be from 10:00 – 12:00 pm. Entertainment includes: The Skallywags, Stage 1, 6:30 pm and 90 Proof Twang, Stage 1, 8:30 pm
