Switzerland County participated in a three-way meet on Tuesday night against South Dearborn and Lawrenceburg, and sophomore Clint Swanson had an outstanding night.
Overall, South Dearborn won the meet with a score of 67, followed closely by Switzerland County with 52 and Lawrenceburg with 47.
Clint Swanson won the 100-meter dash with a time of :11.4; and won the 200-meter dash with a time of :23.6. He also tied for second place in the high jump with a distance of 5’8″.
Alex Curran continued his dominance of the high jump, winning with a height of 5’10”; and Alex Galbreath won the discus with a distance of 117’4″.
Earning second place points for the Pacers was Braden Burk in the 800-meter run; Anthony Dasis in the 110-meter high hurdles; Alex Curran in the long jump; and Kevin Adams in the high jump.
Third places were earned Zach O’Neal in the 400-meter dash; Alex Galbreath in the 800-meter run; Dakota Taylor in the 3,200-meter run; Anthony Dasis in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles; Bradley Cox in the shot put; and Zack Rodgers in the discus.
Finishing fourth in the meet were: Tyler Maxey in the 400-meter dash; Quinn Meyer in the 1,600-meter run and the long jump; T.J. White in the 3,200-meter run; Dakota Taylor in the 110-meter high hurdles; Zack Rodgers in the long jump; Kevin Adams in the shot put; and Bradley Cox in the discus.
The Pacers come home for the Vevay Newspapers Invitational tonight (Thursday) beginning at 5 p.m.
