Clay Meyer honored as ‘Top Performer’

The Ohio River Valley Conference has released its “Players of the Week” and “Top Performers” for the week of February 11th-16th, and Switzerland County Pacer Clay Meyer was honored as a “Top Performer” for the week.

Clay Meyer was honored for his 12 points and eight rebounds against Jac-Cen-Del.

Others honored as “Top Performers” included: Matt Gehl and Gerald Hardesty of Jac-Cen-Del; Trent Tucker of South Ripley; and Zeph Vaughn of Rising Sun.

B.J. Sieverding of South Ripley was honored as the “Player of the Week”.

– In boys basketball:

Kyle Green leads the ORVC in scoring with an average of 16.7 points per game; is third in the conference in the number of three-pointers made with 33; and is ninth in the conference in freethrow percentage at .720.

Brennan Bragg is third in the conference in rebounding with an average of 6.9 per game; and is fourth the conference in field goal percentage at .530.

Mark Sharp leads the conference in assists with 93.
