  The Switzerland County Middle School cross country teams competed in the Jac-Cen-Del Invitational on Wednesday, September 28th. The girls team finished second overall; and the boys team was third overall.

  A huge congratulations goes to Claire Rogers for being the overall winner of the girls race with a time of 13:06.

  She was followed by Carlee Boggs in a time of 13:51; Amber Detmer in a time of 13:52; Halle Archer in a time of 14:08; Bri Stow in a time of 14:13; Macy Collier in a time of 14:16; and Miranda Earls with a time of 19:53.

  For the boys Dylan Sullivan ran a very impressive race, finishing fourth overall with a time of 11:55. Luke Sullivan came in 14th with a time of 12:49; followed by Cale Collier in a time of 12:51; Peyton Richards in a time of 13:10; Jacob Stewart in a time of 13:19; Kadyn Riley in a time of 15:15 and Caleb Riley in a time of 15:17.

  Coach Kaulene Green said that Switzerland County also had eight runners competing in the open race: Derek Hoskins in a time of 13:22; Jameson Works in a time of 14:39; Gavin Rich in a time of 14:52; Claire Boggs in a time of 15:17; Sam Rogers in a time of 16:18; Emma See in a time of 19:17; Paige Earls in a time of 20:17 and Skylar Powell in a time of 26:27.
