Cindi Wagner, a long time assessor for the Switzerland County Department of Child Services has been awarded the “2012 Hope in Heels Foundation Award” for being named outstanding child protection worker/investigator.
The ‘Hope in Heels’ foundation offers annual awards to recognize Prosecutors, Victim’s Advocates and Child Protection Workers/Investigators for their excellence in working with victims of violent crime; and their reputation for being sensitive, consistent, creative, and determined in doing so.
‘Hope In Heels’ is a private, non-profit corporation founded in 2005, by the five adult women of the Besse family, in an effort to acknowledge the work of those who work in the greater Cincinnati community as advocates for victims of violent crime.
The foundation is committed to making a positive impact on the victim services industry, by providing support and recognition to outstanding individuals and organizations working with victims of violent crime. ‘Hope in Heels’ promotes collaboration, education, and understanding in the field of victim services and criminal justice. It strives to increase awareness about the level of dedication amongst those in the field.
Cindi Wagner is a resident of Switzerland County and also serves as the area’s Child Fatality Reviewer for Department of Child Services.
