Downtown Vevay will usher in the Christmas holiday season this Saturday afternoon when the inaugural Christmas Parade takes to the streets.
The parade, which is sponsored in part by Switzerland County Tourism, will roll down Main Street beginning at 3 p.m. this Saturday, December 1st. The parade will proceed to Ferry Street, where it will turn south and conclude in the Paul Ogle Riverfront Park.
There is still time to register a parade entry for the event. To enter the parade, pick up registration forms at the Switzerland County Visitors Center on Main Street; or at Meredith Tax Service on East Main Street.
