Tapps Ridge News 2-9-12

I would like to pay a little tribute to Don Wallis. He was so nice to my Mom. For all of you who don't know her, she was called Gradma Wilma. Don wrote an article about her and put it in the newspaper. Grandma Wilma wrote the Tapps Ridge news for many years.

The Cincinnati Reds Caravan at the Hoosier Theater Saturday night was grand as usual. It was a full house. Kids and grown-ups alike enjoyed the autographs and question-answer time.

Hello friends; woke up to sunshine this morning (Tuesday) and felt blessed - not that I expect it to last long but I will take what I can get. Sunshine in winter is as wonderful as shade in summer and I appreciate both.

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life 2012 had its kick off meeting Thursday night. A few teams showed up and the Switzerland County cheerleaders welcomed everyone with cheers.
