Why are you running for office?
I am running for office because I feel that the current office needs a change; and I want to be the new face of that change.
What are your qualifications?
I feel that with my degree and previous jobs, I can help get our schools back on track where they need to be.
What would be your priorities?
Priority #1 is to do away with the insurance, that should not be allowed. I also want to limit the number of fundraisers that are done each year. If we put the money that is spent on the insurance back, then the kids shouldn’t have to do these fundraisers.
I also want to make changes for the kids who go through school who do not or will not get diplomas. If a student goes all the way through school, they should be given a diploma, also. This is a state level issue, and I hope to change it with the help of others who also feel this way about it.
What makes you the better candidate?
I feel I am the better of the candidates because I have also subbed at the schools; worked with some of the teachers; and been on the PTA. My best interest is the kids! They deserve to have someone who will be fighting for them, and stand up to make sure they have the best education in our state! After all, our kids need to come first!
