Brooke Todd earns All Tourney nod


Brooke Todd, Switzerland County girls basketball’s all time leading scorer and now a freshman guard at Hanover College, didn’t take long to earn collegiate accolades.

At the McWilliams Classic held in St. Louis, Missouri this past weekend, Todd earned a spot on the All Tournament team.

Hanover lost both game of the tourney, but Todd finished in double figures in each of the games.

In the opening round on Friday, Hanover lost to ninth-ranked Washington University of St. Louis by a score of 98-60. Todd had 12 points in the game off of the bench, including going 4-for-6 from the field with a three-pointer.

In the consolation game on Saturday, Hanover lost to Chicago by a score of 113-83.

In that game, Todd ended up with 10 points, joining teammates Claire Cromer and Allison Nash (17 points each) in double figures.

The Lady Panthers, now 0-2 on the year, travel to Danville, Kentucky this Sunday, November 27th, to take on Centre College.
