Brennan Bragg named ‘Top 100’ in state this year

Switzerland County Pacer junior center Brennan Bragg has been honored by being named one of the “Top 100” underclassmen for the 2008-2009 season.

The honor is bestowed each year by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

As one of the honorees, Brennan Bragg participated in a special workout held last Saturday at Ben Davis High School. The six-hour workout – which was attended by the best returning players in the state – included drills and games.

Switzerland County Pacer head coach Brian Bowen also attended the workout, and was involved in coaching some of the drills.

A two year starter, Brennan Bragg proved to be a force inside during this past season, averaging 14.5 points per game and 6.7 rebounds. He also shot 62-percent from the floor during the season.

At the conclusion of the year, he was honored by the conference coaches by being named to the All Conference team.

The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association is the world’s largest basketball coaches association, and is involved in looking for ways that the game of basketball can be made better through instruction, rules changes, and other areas.
