The Switzerland County boys varsity swim team opened its season on November 27th by participating in the North Harrison “Ice Breaker” Invitational.
The Pacer swimmers established several school records in the meet.
- The 200-yard medley relay team of Mikhail Cole, Dillon Deems, Brady Voris, and Tony Hernandez set a school record with a third place finish in a time of 2:34.90.
– Mikhail Cole established a school record in the 100-yard backstroke by finishing second in a time of 1:18.67.
He also finished third in the 200-yard freestyle race in a time of 2:24.77.
– Dillon Deems set a school record in the 100-yard breaststroke by finishing second in a time of 1:24.44.
He also finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:12.76.
– Brady Voris finished seventh in the boys 50-yard freestyle in a time of :29.26; and then was injured while competing in the 500-yard freestyle race.
– Tony Hernandez was 12th in the 50-yard freestyle.
