Boys soccer falls

to Rising Sun, 2-0

The Switzerland County boys varsity soccer team lost a heart breaker against Rising Sun last Thursday night by a final score of 2-0.

Pacer coach Brian Grigsby said that the first half ended in a 0-0 tie, with the Pacers playing tough defense and having the majority of opportunities to score. The coach said that his team could not sustain the pressure throughout the entire second half, letting two shots go in the back of the net for goals.

Coach Grigsby gave a special thanks to all the SAY coaches for bringing their teams to the game.

“It is nice to see the stands filled with so many fans,” the coach said. “If you haven’t been to a soccer game before, you should come out and watch. It is 80 minutes of nonstop action, and this years team is exciting to watch!”

The Pacers next home game is this Monday September 9th against Madison Shawe. Start time is 5 p.m.
