Ben Curran leads Pacer track team


Senior Ben Curran earned three first places in individual events as the Switzerland County varsity track team finished second in a three-way meet.

Curran won the 110-meter hurdles in a time of :18.41; the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in a time of :46.33; and the high jump with a height of 5’6″.

Senior Talen Taylor also brought home a blue ribbon, winning the 3,200-meter run in a time of 10:48.

Second places were earned by Keegan Morris in the 100-meter dash; Brody Splain in the 200-meter dash; Brad Ricketts in the shot put; and Max Anders in the high jump.

Also finishing second was the 3,200-meter relay team of Taylor, Lay, Papucci, and Pike; and the 1,600-meter relay team of Bennett, Griffith, Papucci and Pike.

Earning third place points was Splain in the 100-meter dash and Anders in the 400-meter dash.
