The ninth annual Pacer and Lady Pacer basketball golf scramble is set for Saturday, September 29th at the Vineyard Golf Course in Quercus Grove. The scramble will begin at 8 a.m.
This is an annual fundraiser for both the boys and girls basketball teams that helps the squads pay for uniforms, equipment, entry fees, etc.
The cost for the scramble is $200 per team of four players. There is also a $20 skins game, as well as closest to the pin on par 3s. First place is $400, second place is $200, and third/fourth is $100 if there are 20 or more teams. There will be a meal in the cart barn following the player’s round.
The basketball teams are also looking for individuals and businesses who would like to sponsor a hole or a cart. It is $100 for a hole sponsorship and $50 for a cart sponsorship.
