Switzerland County High School boys varsity basketball coach B.J. McAlister has announced dates and times for his upcoming camps for elementary and middle school boys.
The camp will teach fundamentals of basketball; and each camper will receive a tee-shirt and a certificate of merit.
Camp sessions include:
– Jefferson-Craig Elementary School, grades kindergarten through second. April 18th-21st from 3:15-4:30 p.m. at the Jeff-Craig gym.
– Switzerland County Elementary School, grades kindergarten through second. April 25th-28th from 3:30-4:45 p.m. at the SCES gym.
– Jefferson-Craig Elementary School, grades three through five. May 2nd-6th from 3:15-4:15 p.m. at the Jeff-Craig gym.
– Switzerland County Elementary School, grades three through five. May 9th-13th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the SCES gym.
- Jefferson-Craig Elementary sixth graders and Switzerland County Middle School seventh and eighth graders will have camp May 16th-19th from 3:15-4:45 p.m. in the high school gym; and May 23rd-26th from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Old Gym.
Camps are assigned by the grade that the camper is currently in.
The cost of the camp is $25 for students in grades kindergarten through five; and $35 for students in grades six, seven, and eight.
For families with more than one student attending camp, additional campers are $15 each.
Registration forms have been handed out at all of the schools, and are also available in each school office. Registration forms need to be turned in on the Friday prior to the camper’s camp session starts to guarantee the tee-shirt size.
