The Indiana High School Athletic Association has released its pairings for the upcoming baseball state tournament.
This year’s Sectional will be played at South Ripley High School; and will begin on Wednesday, May 25th, when Lawrenceburg takes on North Decatur at 5 p.m.
On Thursday, May 26th, the first game at 5 p.m. will feature Hauser and South Ripley; followed by Southwestern and Milan at approximately 7 p.m.
The Switzerland County Pacer squad drew the tourney bye, and opens play on Monday, May 30th, in the first semifinal game at 10 a.m. The Pacers will play the winner of the Lawrenceburg-North Decatur game.
In Monday’s second semifinal, which is set for approximately noon, the winner of the Hauser-South Ripley game will play the winner of the Southwestern-Milan contest.
The two winners of Monday morning’s games will then play for the Sectional title at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 30th.
Tickets will be available at the gate.
