Switzerland County Pacer Austin Clark has been informed that he has been selected as one of the top 100 players in the state for this year.

A huge honor considering Austin Clark has just finished his sophomore year and his first as a varsity player, it also means that he has been invited to participate in the 10th annual Indiana High School Boys Basketball Showcase, which is sponsored by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association along with the Indiana High School Athletic Association.

This year, Austin Clark averaged 14.3 points per game for Coach B.J. McAlister’s squad; averaged 7.5 rebounds per game; and shot 53-percent from the field. He earned inclusion in the Ohio River Valley Conference’s All Conference team for his efforts.

The showcase will be held on Thursday, July 19th, and will be held at Ben Davis High School.

Since the event is being held during the NCAA’s official contact period, NCAA Division I, II, and III; as well as NAIA and Junior College coaches from all over the country will be in attendance.

Austin is the son of Steve and Paula Clark of near Bennington.
