Once again, free sports physicals are being provided for Switzerland County Middle School and Switzerland County High School athletes.
These will be done by Dr. Scott Frede, Dr. Marc Willage and Greg Fillenwarth, FNP at the Switzerland County Medical Building located at 727 Highway 56, Suite 200, in Vevay.
There is one date left for the physicals – Wednesday, August 5th. Hours will be from 1-3 p.m. Every student is responsible for picking up their physical form at the school and they must be completed, including parent signatures, to qualify for the physicals on these dates.
This year Switzerland County is following the lead of the Madison physicians in their “Pay It Forward” plan. Each student is being asked to sign up to volunteer one hour of their time to a local organization such as the YMCA or Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in return for the generosity they receive during these free physicals.
