To the Editor:
The response to the request for pictures and other memorabilia has been outstanding. Vevay High School: We need the following class pictures. All grades before 1930, except 1922; grades 1932-33-34-35-36, 1940, 1958, 1960, 1966-67-68, and any and all sports pictures.
We have several grade school class pictures, as well as pictures of the school buildings. We are looking for more.
From Patriot Alumni we have girls basketball 1929-30, boys basketball 1944-45, freshman class 1929-30, graduating classes 1933 and 1947. Class pictures, 1938 and 1966 and a color picture of the school taken in 1952.
We would be delighted to have a representative of Patriot Alumni volunteer to help in this project.
Keep the memorabilia coming, keeping in mind that we finally have a safe place for them, and someone who cares for them as much as we do. We have been promised that Switzerland County School Corporation does care and will display and take care of the history of our school system for us.
