“Hoosier Basketball” magazine has released its list of the top 100 senior girls basketball players in all of Indiana; and Switzerland County point guard Ashley Bright has been honored with inclusion on the list.
The list was developed by magazine publisher Garry Donna after watching many high school games across the state, as well as contacting and discussing potential seniors with coaches, sportswriters, and sportscasters throughout Indiana.
From this list, the girls who will be chosen to participate in the “Top 40” workout will be selected. From that workout, the 2007 Indiana Girls All Star team will be selected.
The “Top 40” workout will be held at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis on Sunday, April 15th.
Ashley Bright is a three-year starter on the Switzerland County Lady Pacer team; and leaves Coach Wayne Ellegood’s program as the school’s all time leader in freethrow percentage; and she ranks in the top 10 in most offensive categories.
Other area players earning inclusion on the list are Emily Einhaus of Jac-Cen-Del; and Jessie Oliver of Southwestern.
