The Ohio River Valley Conference has announced it’s All Conference team in softball for this past season.
There are three members of the Switzerland County Lady Pacers on the 12-member squad; and Switzerland County is the only school to have more than two honorees.
Earning spots for the Lady Pacers were junior outfielder Jenna Daugherty; senior catcher Tanya Sefton; and sophomore pitcher Becky Turner.
Joining the Lady Pacer trio on the squad were: Kaity Barton and Courtney Crabtree of Milan; Devin Brierly and Kendall Withered of Southwestern; Kayla Kelly and Michelle McDaniel of Rising Sun; Rachel Muessel of Madison Shawe; and Kaylin Ploeger of Valerie Wagner of Jac-Cen-Del.
Also, Switzerland County senior outfielder Morgan Ross was honored by the conference as the winner of the “Mental Attitude Award”. She shared the honor with Kiersten Young of Jac-Cen-Del.
Milan won the league title, and coach Milton Teer was named the “Coach of the Year.”
