Switzerland County senior volleyball player Emerson Schroer earned top academic honors recently when she was named “Indiana Academic All-State” by the Indiana High School Volleyball Coaches Association, Only 212 athletes from across the state were named to this list, representing 111 schools. In order to be eligible, the nominee must be a senior on the varsity roster, carry a minimum 3.5 grade point average, and have scored a minimum 1,110 on the SAT.
