The Historic Hoosier Theater in Vevay will present the play “A Man Called Peter”, for three performances this weekend, April 22nd-24th.
The play is a true story based on the life of Peter Marshall, a Scottish immigrant who came to the United States as a young man in search of the American dream and fulfilling his promise to live a life in service to God.
This powerful story of faith, politics, and the frailties of the human spirit is adapted from the book written by his wife, Catherine Marshall.
Shane Jackson plays Peter Marshall in the performance; with Billie Ray portraying Catherine Marshall.
Other cast members include: Adele Percer, Nancy Gilliland, Ben Wright, Caleb Adams, Kelly O’Conner, Judy Lozier, Gil Thompson, Jimmy Williams, Jeremiah Estepp, Spike Wright, Brianne Martin, Heather Topa, and Carol Conner.
The production is under the direction of Libby Kinman.
Performances are set for tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.; with a Sunday matinee beginning at 2 p.m. All times are slow time.
