The eighth grade girls basketball team from Switzerland County Middle School fell in a road game last Wednesday night by a score of 37-28.
Coach Gary Pavy said that his squad fell behind by a 10-2 score early in the game, and never recovered.
Hailee Lay led the Lady Pacers with 13 points; while Eve Galbreath had five points; Carleigh Hughes had five points; Olivia Pavy had four points; and Jacqueline Hensley added two points.

On Thursday night the Lady Pacers traveled to Madison Shawe, and came away with a 37-27 victory.
Hailee Lay was again the leading scorer, recording 17 points; while Carleigh Hughes finished with nine points. Courtney Pedraza added five points; Chelsea Claypoole and Shelby Auxier had two points each; and Eve Galbreath and Brooke Todd had one point each.

The last of three straight road games saw the Lady Pacers suffer through some poor freethrow shooting in a 28-21 loss to Rising Sun.
Hailee Lay and Eve Galbreath each had six points to lead Switzerland County; while Jacqueline Hensley had four points. Olivia Pavy, Chelsea Claypoole, and Brooke Todd had two points each; and McKenzie Mathews chipped in one point.
