The eighth grade girls basketball team from Switzerland County Middle School wrapped up its season with an 11-6 overall record with three games in the final week.
– The Lady Pacers defeated Rising Sun by a score of 28-26.
The leading scorer was Hailee Lay with 14 points; while Olivia Pavy and Carleigh Hughes each finished with five.
Jacqueline Hensley and Eve Galbreath each had two points in the win.
– Switzerland County then defeated Jac-Cen-Del by a score of 30-22.
Leading the way in the win was Eve Galbreath with 13 points; while Chelsea Claypoole had six points.
Olivia Pavy had four points; Carleigh Hughes added three; Jacqueline Hensley had two points; and Hailee Lay had one point in the win.
– In the season finale, the Lady Pacers fell to Southwestern by a score of 37-31.
Eve Galbreath and Hailee Lay each had eight points to pace Switzerland County; while Jacqueline Hensley added six.
Brooke Todd had three points; and Shelby Auxier, Chelsea Claypoole, and Kelsi Konkle each had two points.
The team was coached by Gary Pavy.
