The eighth grade boys basketball team from Switzerland County Middle School is off to a fast start in its season.
– On Thursday, November 20th, the Pacer fell to Madison by a score of 58-28.
Tyler Konkle and Morgan Gammons led Switzerland County with nine points each; while Harrison Griffis had five. Joey Hall added three points; and Logan Tingle chipped in two.
– On Saturday the Pacers hosted the Switzerland County Invitational Tournament.
In the first game, Switzerland County lost to Madison Shawe by a score of 62-36.
The Pacers were led by Tyler Konkle, who finished with 16 points; and Morgan Gammons had eight. Harrison Griffis had seven points; and Joey Hall added five points.
In the tournament’s consolation game, Switzerland County defeated Southwestern 22-19.
Harrison Griffis was the leading scorer in the contest with 12 points; and Joey Hall had eight. Logan Tingle also had two points.
Madison Shawe won the tournament with a 61-27 decision over Rising Sun.
– On Monday night, the Pacers lost to South Ripley by a score of 39-32.
Tyler Konkle again led the charge, finishing with 16 points, including three three-pointers; and Joey Hall had six points.
Harrison Griffis had five points; Morgan Gammons had three points; and Logan Tingle had two points.
