The Switzerland County seventh grade girls basketball team has been in action three times over the past week – and ended up with three big wins.
In the first game of the stretch, the Lady Pacers played at Rising Sun, winning by a score of 52-13.
Leading the Pacers in scoring was Kyah Chase with 10; followed by Rochelle Bolton with 9; Maddie and Jessica Duvall each with 8; Shawnee Minch 6; Nora Hankins and Hannah Hayes with 4; and Jaden Harrell had 3.
Next the team hosted South Dearborn for a home game, and came away with a two-point win, 23-21. Switzerland County was led in scoring by Jessica Duvall with 8; Maddie Duvall with 4; Jaden Harrell and Rochelle Bolton both adding 3; Hannah Hayes and Shawnee Minch each with 2; and Nora Hankins adding 1.
The final game of the three game week was against Rising Sun at home.
The Lady Pacers were a little banged up, but still came out with an impressive win, beating the Lady Shiners 47-6.
Leading Switzerland County in scoring was Rochelle Bolton with 13; followed closely by Nora Hankins with 11; Maddie Duvall with 9; Jessica Duvall adding 6; Hannah Hayes with 4; and Jaden Harrell and Alisha Detmer each putting up 2.
The Lady Pacers now prepare for the Tri-County Tournament, which begins March 7th at home against St. Lawrence.
